The Ticalie Story

Founded in 2018, Ticálié Irish Dance Academy is a family-run Irish dance school proudly serving dancers in West Kelowna and Kelowna. What began with our first studio in West Kelowna has continued to grow, with our Kelowna location opening in 2022 and our Ticálié community growing right alongside it.

Led by academy owner and certified TCRG teacher Tia Jervis, Ticálié provides quality Irish dance instruction in a positive, encouraging, and welcoming environment. We offer classes for dancers of all ages and experience levels, from those taking their very first steps in Irish dance to competitive dancers working toward goals on the local, national, and international stage.

At the heart of Ticálié is a strong sense of community. We want every dancer who walks through our doors to feel supported, included, and excited to be part of the studio. Our focus extends beyond developing strong Irish dancers - we aim to build confidence, encourage friendships, celebrate individual progress, and help each dancer discover what they are capable of.

While we are proud of our dancers' achievements, we believe there is no single definition of success. Every dancer has their own goals and their own journey, and we are committed to helping them grow, challenge themselves, and find their own love for Irish dance.
